FAIL on expectations, communication & planning
I showed up around 2, got in and then realized there was no mention of end time or artist line up. The flyer just said starts at 12. I then ask for a bracelet or stamp to leave and come back in figuring I'd go take a nap at the hotel and come back, but all exits are final. The place isn't that large and there are few seats, so after listening to GARBAGE music and acts, it was now 7 o'clock and they were behind schedule, I had to leave. NOPE...REALLY??? All they had to do was publish the tentative set schedule online or at least at the entry point and tell you before you got in that there is no exit (and yes I know I should have asked...that's my mistake). So I bought tickets, drove to Philly from NY, paid for a hotel, spent five hours in the sun listening to just awful acts and then left without seeing any of the acts I wanted to see. Well, I did see J.Period DJ - BUT Black Thought was not on the stage with him. No Noah Gundersen, No Nas...not even a sighting. That's a sh*t experience, but seriously, I've been going to shows a long time.
